The glass model shows how brushing cannot remove food nor deliver toothpaste inside grooves on chewing surfaces nor between teeth.
Remove the clip to one side to stand the glass model that side down and test flossing skills between the two square glass slides clamped together by the Celco paper clip

Flossing
Flossing is a skill that helps remove plaque and food between teeth providing better access of fluoride while brushing.
All cavities occur where food is left on teeth after eating and and any carbohydrate like sugar is changed to acid by resisent plaque bacteria that brushing and fluoride toothpaste cannot reach and saliva has poor access to neutralise acid and repair demineralised tooth.
While most food is trapped between teeth compared over 80% of cavities occur inside grooves on chewing surfaces where the brush cannot reach and saliva has no access to neutralise acid and repair demineralised tooth.
Supertooth Oral Care Recommendation. Chew a sealant food like nuts before eating to block grooves and help prevent food being trapped and changed to acid while eating. Chew a sealant food after eating to help dislpace trapped food and reduce acid attack. Chew a fibre like celery string after eating to help saliva remove soluble foods like sugar, neutralise acid and repair demineralised tooth.
Before brushing twice a day after breakfast and before bed. 1. Floss or remove trapped food from between teeth. 2. Chew toothpaste on one end of a foam strip to force fluoride between teeth and inside grooves.
